Dr. Johnson was born in the Matanuska valley of Alaska and raised in Iowa, where she obtained her medical degree at the University of Iowa. She completed her Pediatric Internship at Yale University and Dermatology Residency at Harvard University. After her fellowship at Emory University in Atlanta, she returned to Boston as a Clinical Instructor of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery at Harvard University.
