Medical Expertise of Dr. David Cohen, MD

Dr. Cohen specializes in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. He treats difficult skin conditions, including psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, pyoderma gangrenosum, epidermodysplasis verruciformis. He has particular expertise in the use biologic medications and phototherapy for the treatment of psoriasis and Mohs surgery for the treatment of skin cancer.

Dr. Cohen also performs cosmetic procedures, including sclerotherapy, Botox, Juvederm and Sculptra.

About Dr. David Cohen, MD

Dr. David Cohen, MD is a board-certified dermatologist, internist and Mohs surgeon providing care to patients in Macon and Middle Georgia at Skin Care Physicians of Georgia.

Dr. David Cohen also serves as Chief of Dermatology and Assistant Clinical Professor at Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon. He also completes in-hospital consults at the Medical Center of Central Georgia and the Coliseum Hospital.

Dr. Cohen has lectured extensively to medical professionals and has published numerous articles on topics of dermatology. He serves as President of the Middle Georgia Journal Club and is a member of the National Psoriasis Foundation.

Dr. David Cohen actively participates in clinical researchand has served as the Principal Investigator in over 30 Clinical Trials.
