Douglas Thomas, MD, FAAD,is a board-certified dermatologist providing care to patients in Las Vegas at Thomas Dermatology. Dr. Thomas also serves as Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and Internal Medicine/Dermatology at The University of Nevada School of Medicine. He previously served as Medical Director of the Las Vegas Skin and Cancer Clinics. He has published multiple articles in The Journal of Infectious Disease, Journal of Cutaneous Pathology, and The Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology (JAAD). Dr. Thomas is a member of the American Society for MOHS surgery and the Las Vegas Dermatology Society. Dr. Thomas has been voted as Las Vegas’ Top Dermatologist in Las Vegas Life Magazine since 2002.

Education & Training

Dr. Thomas graduated from Bishop Gorman High School and received his undergraduate degree from The University of San Diego. He graduated, with honors, from medical school at The University of Southern California in 1985. Remaining at USC, he completed an internship in pediatrics and his residency in dermatology. He was selected Chief Resident in 1988, and appointed Assistant Clinical Professor in 1989.
