About Dr. Edward DiPreta, MD

Edward DiPreta, MD is a board certified dermatologist who has been in the Golden Isles area since 2005.

After graduating form the University of Notre Dame, he attended the Chicago Medical School. He completed his internship at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, TX.

Dr. DiPreta served ten years with the US Army, three of which were at the hospital in Wuerzberg Germany. For three memorial months he was deployed to the Former Yugoslavian Republic of Macedonia (with the UN) as the only American physician.

He then returned to the United States to complete his dermatology residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, one of the top dermatology programs in the US.

He completed his army career at Fort Campbell as the head of the Medical Specialties Department. He served in two tropical medicine tours in El Salvador and to the amazon in Brazil.

Dr. DiPreta moved to Coastal Georgia in 2003. With his recent acquisition of Brunswick Dermatology from the well known Dr. Pernaciaro, he has completely settled in. Dr DiPreta and his family have finally found their paradise in the Golden Isles.
