Education & Training
Dr. Nadel attended Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, before moving on to complete medical school at Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. He then completed both an internship as well as a residency in Pediatrics at Charlotte Memorial Hospital, which was later renamed as Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Dr. Nadel moved to Kansas City, Missouri, where he completed a fellowship in Allergy/Immunology at Children’s Mercy Hospital, followed by another fellowship in allergy/immunology, this time at the University of Kansas Medical Center, also in Kansas City.
Dr. Nadel continued his training by completing a one-year research appointment at the University of Tennessee in Memphis. His area of research was on the “mechanism of action of asthma drugs.”
