Dr. Greg Sakamoto also serves as a Clinical Instructor at the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine and practices at the Queen Emma Clinic at the Queens Medical Center, where he also devotes his time to teaching medical students and residents.
Dr. Sakamoto is a member of several esteemed medical professional organizations, including the American Academy of Dermatology of which he is a Fellow. He also served as the Secretary/Treasurer of the Hawaii Dermatological Society.

Dr. Sakamoto is a graduate of the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine. He then went on to complete his dermatology residency at Harvard, where he worked at the prestigious Massachusetts General Hospital, Brigham and Women's Hospital, Beth Israel Hospital and The Children's Hospital of Boston. He served as the Chief Resident of the Harvard Dermatology Program.
