Dr. Hanson graduated magna cum laude from Duke University in 1995 and then earned her PhD in immunology from Washington University.. She then studied medicine at Cornell University from which she graduated as part of the medical honor society (AOA). Dr. Hanson then completed her dermatology residency at Emory University in Atlanta Georgia.
