About Dr. James Rheim, MD
Dr. James Rheim has been in private practice for over 30 years on the Monterey Peninsula. A California native, he was born and raised in San Diego. He completed his undergraduate studies at Stanford University before moving on to Tulane Medical School in New Orleans, Louisiana. After receiving his medical degree from Tulane, he finished his dermatology residency at the University of Michigan.
Dr. Rheim specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer. He continues instruction in the general dermatology and cosmetic fields through educational training at UCLA, UCSF, UC Irvine and through his memberships with the American Academy of Dermatology, the Pacific Dermatologic Association and the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery.
