About Dr. James Sublett, MD
Dr. Sublett is a Past President of the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (ACAAI) and currently serves as the College’s Executive Director for Advocacy and Governmental Affairs. He also has been honored by the College as a Distinguished Fellow. He is also a Fellow of the American, Academy, of Allergy, Asthma, & Immunology.
Dr. James Sublett serves on the Editorial Board of the Annals of Allergy & Immunology and as one of the two North American Editors for the World Allergy Organization Journal. In addition, Dr. Sublett sits on several other boards, including the University of Louisville Board of Overseers and Norton Healthcare Board of Trustees.
He is a Clinical Professor at the University of Louisville School of Medicine and for over 20 years served as the Section Chief of Pediatric Allergy & Immunology.
Dr. Sublett is regarded as an expert on the effects of air pollution on human health, especially related to indoor air pollution resulting from both outdoor and indoor sources. He is a frequently invited national and international speaker on medical socio-economics, anaphylaxis, asthma, food allergy, and indoor environmental issues.

Dr. Sublett received both his undegraduate and medical degrees from the University of Louisville. He completed a residency in Pediatrics and a Fellowship in Allergy and Immunology in the Department of Pediatrics, Children’s Hospital, University of Louisville School of Medicine.
