Dr. Romero is a Lafayette, Louisiana native who graduated from the University of Texas with a B.A. in Biology in 1997 and attended medical school at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport earning his medical degree in 2002. He completed his medical internship and first year of dermatology residency at the LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport transferring to the LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans to complete his residency. Dr. Romero served as chief resident of the Department of Dermatology in his final year of residency.
