About Dr. Karin Covi, MD
Dr. Karin Covi has been with our practice since 2006. She is dual board-certified in Dermatology (ABPS) and Emergency Medicine (ABMS) and has been practicing medicine in Chattanooga since 1990. Her practice receives and welcomes referrals from area providers for challenging cases in all areas of medical and surgical dermatology.
Dr. Covi attended college locally at Southern College, and completed medical school and residency at Loma Linda University in southern California; in addition, she spent three years in specialty training under the tutelage of regional dermatologists. She successfully completed a year-long training in the Physicians Leadership College through the Tennessee Medical Association (TMA). Dr. Covi serves on the Board of Directors for the Chattanooga Hamilton County Medical Society, as well as its delegate to the TMA House of Representatives in Nashville. You will find her regular contributions to local publications on various skin-related issues.
