About Dr. Kavita Mariwalla, MD

Dr. Kavita Mariwalla is a board certified dermatologist and fellowship trained Mohs surgeon providing care at Mariwalla Dermatology in New York.

Dr. Mariwalla's beauty philosophy is meeting patients where they are in their beauty routine - so no 10 steps . It’s all about having three buckets - protect, prevent and reverse. She is passionate about teaching. She comes from a family of doctors and chose Dermatology because she gets to treat babies all the way to centenarians and get to really know her patients. She thinks of her practice like a mom and pop shop where her patients are her community.

Dr. Kavita Mariwalla believes that her patients should look refreshed, not frozen. With a refreshingly honest evaluation of each patient, she understands that a true aesthetic experience is built on trust and only offers procedures that truly work and are in the best interest of the patient. It’s this honesty and pursuit of what will truly work for her patients that led to her nickname, “The Drugstore Derm,” always recommending products that deliver.

We start with the simple things like sending your prescriptions electronically to your pharmacy for you so you don’t have to wait, working with specialty pharmacies to make sure your co-pay is as low as possible, and writing everything down so you won’t forget any instructions.
