About Dr. Kimberly Mullinax, MD

Kimberly Mullinax, MD is a board-certified dermatologist providing care to patients in the Pearland and greater Houston area.

Dr. Mullinax has been practicing medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology since 2004.

Dr. Mullinax specializes in medical dermatology for all ages. She focuses her continuing medical education on the latest treatments in psoriasis, acne and pediatric dermatology. At national meetings, Dr. Mullinax seeks advances in treating disorders of ethnic skin, understanding that there is much greater tendency to scar. She also studies the most advanced cosmetic and surgical procedures, training in the newest cosmetic injectables and laser technology.

Education & Training

Dr. Mullinax earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Houston. She started as a Texas-certified math and science teacher and taught high school for years in Pasadena, Texas.

She then received her medical degree from the Texas A&M University System Health Science Center and completed her dermatology residency at the Texas Tech University Health Science Center, where she served as Chief Resident.
