About Dr. Lisa Scatena, MD
She has a special interest in medical dermatology, notably systemic diseases with skin findings and transplant patient care.
Dr. Scatena received both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from UCLA in physiology. Her medical degree and post-graduate training in Internal Medicine and Dermatology were from the University of Colorado, Denver School of Medicine where she remains on faculty today. She received many accolades from the University of Colorado including Chief Residency in Dermatology, Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society, The Dr. Lubchenco Award for Unusual Dedication to the Field of Medicine and the American College of Physician's Outstanding Medical Student Award. She has authored many publications in the Journal of Medicine, Journal of Family Practice and the Journal of the Society of Correctional Physicians.
