Dr. Vierra enjoys all aspects of dermatology, but has a particular interest in the management of skin cancer and psoriasis, as well as cosmetic dermatology. His expertise is in the use of neuromodulators, like Botox and Dysport, and dermal fillers, including Juvederm, Perlane, Restylane, Radiesse, Sculptra, and others. He also enjoys the use of chemical peels and lasers.

Education & Training
Dr. Mark Vierra attended California State University, Fresno where he obtained a degree in Functional Biology and minors in Chemistry and Philosophy. He then attended Penn State Medical School. Dr. Vierra completed two years of internal medicine training at UCSD, then continued on from there for his dermatology training, serving as chief resident in his final year. At UCSD, he trained in all aspects of dermatology, but spent extra time seeking out further training in cosmetic dermatology, spending time with many leaders in the field.
