Mary Ramirez, MD, MSc, FAAD is a board-certified dermatologist providing care at Texas Dermatology. Education & Training

Dr. Ramirez received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin and her master’s degree from the University of North Texas Health Sciences Center.

Dr. Ramirez earned a Doctor of Medicine at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. Afterward, Dr. Ramirez completed a preliminary internal medicine internship at the University of New Mexico, where she was awarded the Preliminary Intern of the Year Award. She then completed a dermatology residency at Duke University, where she served as chief resident during her final year of training.

Dr. Ramirez has presented at numerous national meetings and has authored several articles in peer-reviewed journals. During residency training, she received the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery Resident Scholarship, which allowed her to attend a preceptorship in cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Ramirez was trained in tumescent and SmartLipo through the American Association of Aesthetic Medicine and Surgery.
