He has authored numerous scientific articles and book chapters in the areas of cutaneous oncology, reconstructive surgery, and aesthetic medicine. His work in the field of reconstructive surgery has been recognized by the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and he was the recipient of a national award for his research in reconstructive surgery.
