His work in the field of reconstructive surgery has been recognized by the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and he was the recipient of a national award for his research in reconstructive surgery.
Dr. Mahlberg also is passionate about healthcare policy and serves as a Member of the Task Force on Health Care Costs and Quality for the Colorado Medical Society.
