About Dr. Robert Fischer, MD

Robert Fischer, MD is a board-certified dermatologist and dermatologic surgeon providing care to patients in the Tulsa area at Southside Dermatology.

Dr. Fishcher has professional expertise in the diagnosis and management of skin cancer (basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, malignant melanoma),  Mohs surgery for the treatment of skin cancer and cosmetic reconstruction.

Dr. Fischer received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mechanical and aerospace engineering, graduating summa cum laude from Oklahoma State University and conducting research for NASA prior to pursuing medical training.

Dr. Fischer received his medical degree (MD) from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine and completed his dermatology residency training at the Boston University - affiliated Roger Williams Medical Center in Providence, Rhode Island. He then completed a rigorous fellowship in Mohs and dermatologic surgery through the American College of Mohs Surgery (ACMS).
