Dr. Ramirez is currently involved in clinical research covering a wide array of diseases including allergic rhinitis, asthma and COPD, and eczema, at the Biogenics Research Institute in the Medical Center. 

Dr. Robert Ramirez has written papers in medical journals on various allergy and immunology topics.  In 2010, he served as President of the San Antonio Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology Society. 

Dr. Robert Ramirez was recently recognized as a Super Doctor, by the Texas Monthly magazine.
