Dr. Verghese received her degree in Medicine and Surgery from Mahatma Gandhi University in India and completed her internship at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia prior to completing her residency at the Georgetown University/Washington Hospital Center Program.

Dr. Verghese is a member of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS).
