About Dr. Scott Smith, MD

Dr. Scott Smith, a board certified dermatologist with the added qualification of Mohs Micrographic Surgery, leads our amazing team of skin care professionals.

Dr. Smith, a Spokane Valley native, is excited to return home to care for his community. After finishing his undergraduate education at Carroll College in Helena, Montana with the honors of magna cum laude, he attended Des Moines College of Osteopathic Medicine in Des Moines, Iowa where he graduated in the top 10 percent of his medical school class.

His traditional rotating Internship at Richmond Hospital, Richmond Heights, Ohio was followed by extensive dermatology residency training at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.

Dr. Smith is currently a member of numerous medical societies including the American Academy of Dermatology, American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, American Society of Mohs Surgeons, American Osteopathic Academy, American Medical Academy, and Sigma Sigma Phi national scholastic and service fraternity. He has authored a textbook chapter and many articles in dermatology and dermatologic surgery.
