Dr. Shannon Trotter, DO is a board-certified dermatologist providing care to patients in the Columbus and Dayton Ohio area at Oakview Dermatology.

Dr. Trotter also serves as Assistant Clinical Professor at the Ohio State University Division of Dermatology and serves as Director of the Pigmented Lesion Clinic at the James Comprehensive Cancer Center in Columbus.

​Dr. Trotter has given several presentations and published articles on various topics in dermatology. She has also received several awards, including the Boston University Department of Dermatology Humanism in Medicine Award.

Education & Training

Dr. Trotter received her undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Dayton and graduated from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2006.  In 2010, she completed her dermatology residency training at O’Bleness Memorial Hospital followed by a fellowship in cutaneous oncology at Boston University.
