Dr. Franks treats a variety of dermatological conditions, including Skin Cancer (Basal Cell, Squamous Cell and Melanoma), Atopic Dermatitis, Eczema, Rosacea, Acne, Skin Tags, Sun Damaged Skin, Aging Skin, Cysts, Folliculitis, Hair Loss, Infections of Skin and Nails, Keloids, Seborrheic Keratoses, Stasis Dermatitis, Leg Ulcers, Urticaria, Warts, Vitiligo, Itchy Skin and more.
Dr. Franks received his undegraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and received his medical degree (MD) from Tufts University Medical School. He then completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Connecticut and prior to completing a residency program in Dermatology at the State University of New York (SUNY). Following medical school, Dr. Franks served as a Captain and General Medical Officer in the U.S. Army.
