About Dr. Timothy Kelly, MD
Dr. Timothy F. Kelly Is a Board Certified Dermatologist who has lived in Pinellas County since 1965 and has been practicing medicine here since 1984. He has always been passionate about helping others. In 1971, Dr. Kelly earned his Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Florida. After serving in the U.S. Army for three years, during the Vietnam War, Dr. Kelly pursued his dreams of becoming a doctor and received his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of South Florida College of Medicine in 1978. Dr. Kelly graduated from medical school first in his class.
In 1979, Dr. Kelly completed his medical internship at the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Kelly was granted his Board Certification in 1982 from the American Board of Dermatology after completing his residency at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine, Department of Dermatology. He was Chief Resident during his final year of residency.
Dr. Kelly is an active member of the Florida West Coast Society of Dermatology, the Florida Society of Dermatology, the Medical Honor Society-Alpha Omega Alpha, the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery and the American Academy of Dermatology.
Dr. Kelly loves research, learning, and teaching. He has been an associate professor at the University of South Florida since 1985 and was awarded the Volunteer Faculty of the year in Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery Award in 2002.
Over the past thirty years, Dr. Timothy Kelly has enjoyed practicing dermatology In the state of Florida. In 2011, Doctor Kelly opened the doors to his current practice in the state-of-the-art Medical Arts Building in Safety Harbor, where he and his trusted team of employees enjoy serving the dermatological needs of the community. Dr. Kelly’s philosophy is simple excellence, and that is what you can expect when you walk In our office. From his complete skin examination to his comprehensive knowledge of dermatology, to his clear and precise communication style, you will be in very good hands with Dr. Kelly.
