About Dr. William Sumner, MD

 Dr. William T. Sumner began practicing here in 2000 and specializes in General Dermatology with interests in skin cancer, acne, eczema/atopic dermatitis and psoriasis. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and is Board Certified in Dermatology. Dr. Sumner sees patients of all ages, taking a caring, thoughtful approach that addresses their individual concerns. He is married with three children and enjoys sailing, hiking, acting and singing. In fact, Dr. Sumner used to act professionally and played leading roles in many local community theatre productions.

We are one of the largest dermatology practices in the Carolinas, serving residents in Cabarrus, Rowan and surrounding counties for over twenty-seven years.
