Tanya graduated Cum Laude with a BS in Biology in 2008 from the University of Texas-Pan American in Edinburg prior to completing a three-year physician assistant program at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA), where she graduated with a Master of Physician Assistant Studies in 2014.
