Allison received both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of Florida, graduating summa cum laude. For each degree, she was awarded the academic excellence award given to the top scholar in the program. She became a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner in 2012 and began her career as a dermatology NP in academia at the University of Florida’s Department of Dermatology, training under the attending physicians. She then relocated to the Washington DC area continuing her practice in a private dermatology office prior to relocating back home to South Florida and joining ClearlyDerm.
