After Delmer Henderson graduated from Knoxville Vocational School and became a Licensed Practical Nurse, Del went on to earn a BS in Life Sciences from Kansas State University, then a BS in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Oklahoma. He then continued on to complete his MPAS in Emergency Medicine from the University of Nebraska. Throughout all this time and continuing today, Del has served with the US Army and has been awarded such medals as the Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Overseas Ribbon, National Defense Medal, and Army Service Ribbon.
