Education & Training
Dr. Dhana completed his medical training at the University of the Witwatersrand, where he graduated with the Health Sciences Merit Award. He has been recognized as a distinguished graduate and alumni of the University of the Witwatersrand. After earning his medical degree, he completed a Master of Public Health at Harvard University as a Fulbright Scholar, Oppenheimer Scholar, and Horace W. Goldsmith Fellow.
Dr. Dhana completed his specialty training in dermatology at Groote Schuur Academic Hospital and Red Cross Children’s Hospital, where he obtained his Fellowship of the College of Dermatologists of South Africa.
Dr. Dhana is currently completing his PhD at the University of Cape Town as a Fogarty HATTP Clinical Science Fellow and NRF scholar.
