About Dr. Christine Ng, MD

Dr. Christine Ng, MD,  is a board-certified Dermatologist providing dermatology care to patients in the Jacksonville Beach, FL area at Advanced Dermatology, PA. 

Dr. Ng’s Advanced Dermatology practice specializes in skin diseases such as skin cancers, pre-malignant lesions, moles, acne, eczema, psoriasis, warts, contact dermatitis, dry skin and skin infections. Cosmetic services offered include chemical peels, sclerotherapy, and microneedling (including PRP), as well as Botox, Restylane, Juvederm, Xeomin and Dysport injections. In addition, non-prescription skin care and cosmetic products are also available.

Dr.Ng received her undergraduate degree from Pacific Union College and earned her medical degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine. During medical school, she received numerous honors including the Janet M. Glasgow Memorial Achievement Citation of the American Women’s Medical Association, the National Dean’s List, and the Alpha Omega Alpha national honor society. Dr. Ng completed her residency training in Internal Medicine at the Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, Washington, and served as the director of the Madigan Army Hospital Acute Illness Clinic (Tacoma) where she received a Letter of Citation for Excellence in Clinical Medicine. During this time, she also served at the International District Community Health Clinic (Seattle). Dr. Ng has also served as a Clinical Instructor in Dermatology at the University of Washington School of Medicine

Dr. Ng left the Pacific Northwest for specialist training in Dermatology at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota and subsequently accepted a staff appointment at Mayo Clinic Florida in Jacksonville as a Senior Associate Consultant in the Department of Dermatology. While at Mayo, she was promoted to Assistant Professor in Dermatology of the Mayo Medical School in  Minnesota. She also served as the Chair of Education for the Department of Dermatology and was honored as the Mayo Clinic Teacher of the Year in Dermatology in 1998. She has authored numerous scientific publications and has presented lectures at major medical meetings — locally, nationally and internationally.

Dr. Ng served on the Board of the American Cancer Society, Beaches Chapter. She was Secretary-Treasurer and Past President of the Jacksonville Dermatology Society. She has been recognized as one of Jacksonville’s “Top Docs.” Dr. Ng is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology where she has served on the CME Program Review and Evaluation Task Force.
