About Dr. Cindy Lamerson, MD

Dr. Lamerson is certified by the American Board of Dermatology with training in cosmetic, surgical and general dermatology. Her practice includes Mohs micro-graphic surgery, laser treatments of skin problems, cosmetic dermatology, surgical dermatology, and pediatric dermatology. She is certified by the American Society for Mohs Surgery, is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and is a member of numerous medical societies and associations.

Dr. Lamerson was born in Michigan, graduated from Kalamazoo College, and received her M.D. at the Medical College of Virginia. Her dermatology training was completed at the University of Cincinnati where she was also Chief Resident. In addition, she was a researcher of immunology at the National Institutes of Health in Washington D.C. and is credited with numerous published articles and textbook chapters. She is also a Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of Nevada School of Medicine and more recently, she served as a Member of the Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners where she oversaw all physicians and physician assistants in the State of Nevada.
