About Dr. David Cleaver, DO
Dr. David Cleaver, DO was born in San Diego, California. He graduated from Kirksville High School in 1998. He completed his training at the St. Joseph Mercy Health System in Michigan and returned back to his hometown of Kirksville to join his father’s practice in 2010. Dr. David and his wife have a daughter and son and he enjoys spending all of his free time with them.
Dr. Cleaver is currently an assistant professor of dermatology at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine/A.T. Still University. He is the Third Vice-President for the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology. Dr. David is currently the Program Director for the dermatology residency training program Northeast Regional Medical Center/ Still OPTI.
Dr. Cleaver is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Dermatology in Dermatology and Mohs Surgery. He practices general dermatology with an interest in rural dermatology and psoriasis. He performs many different types of dermatological surgery. He has a special interest in cosmetic dermatology including botulinum toxins, dermal fillers and multiple types of lasers.
