Dr. Michaels is a firm believer in the value of continuing education and mastering best practices and procedures. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Nevada, Reno and his medical degree from the University of Nevada School of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine internship at Brown University and his dermatology residency at Texas Tech University. He later obtained his Masters of Business Administration at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Dr. Michaels has also completed preceptorships with six of the top cosmetic dermatologists and laser surgeons in the country.
