About Dr. Jason Neustadter, MD

Dr. Neustadter practices medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology, the latter being a particular interest of his. An expert injector with an artistic eye and a gentle touch Dr. Neustadter will give you the natural look that you desire.  Combining injectables, lasers, and topical therapies uniquely suited to the individual patient Dr. Neustadter takes a global approach to facial aesthetics and will lay out and execute a treatment plan with precision and skill.  In 2016 he was named “Top 40 Physicians under 40” in the State of Pennsylvania and a “Top Doctor” for Dermatology in Philadelphia from 2016 through the present.

Dr. Neustadter has published in several national and international journals including Science, the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, Archives of Dermatology, and the Journal of Investigative Dermatology among others. He has presented at the annual meetings of both the American Academy of Dermatology and the Society for Investigative Dermatology.

Education & Training

Dr. Jason H. Neustadter completed his undergraduate training at the University of Pennsylvania. There he graduated with distinction in Biology and as a member of the Benjamin Franklin Scholars Honors Program. Dr. Neustadter then attended medical school at Jefferson Medical College. Among numerous awards and honors at Jefferson, he graduated Summa Cum Laude, in the top 5 of a class of over 230 students, and as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.

Dr. Neustadter went on to do his internship at the Albert Einstein Medical Center of Philadelphia. There, he was chosen by the faculty as Outstanding Intern of the Year. Before pursuing a career in dermatology, he trained for two years in diagnostic radiology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital where he was elected Chief Resident by the faculty and his peers.

Prior to training in dermatology, Dr. Neustadter spent two years at the Yale University School of Medicine, Department of Dermatology, researching the cellular and molecular underpinnings of skin cancer. He then matriculated to Brown University where he completed his formal dermatology training, serving as Chief Resident in Dermatology during his final months at Brown.

Our practice was founded by Dr. Steven S. Greenbaum in 1997.  Dr. Neustadter joined the practice in 2012.  Originally specializing in Mohs Micrographic Surgery, we now offer a complete range of dermatological services including medical procedures, cosmetic procedures, skin cancer treatment, and surgical dermatology procedures including Mohs Surgery, still a major focal point of the practice.

We are conveniently located in central Philadelphia on Walnut St. Our advanced technology includes leading-edge laser and light devices for skin treatment and body contouring as well as all the best injectables including Botox, Dysport, Juvederm, Restylane, and Sculptra among others.

All of the dermatologists at our office are board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology.
