Dr. Parish is a Philadelphia native and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with an A.B. degree.  She received her M.D. degree from Jefferson Medical College where she was a member of the Hobart Amory Hare Honor Society.

She interned at Rush Presbyterian - St. Luke's Medical Center in Chicago and did her dermatology training at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, where she served as Chief Resident.
