Medical Expertise of Dr. John Geisse, MD

Dr. Geisse specializes in all aspects of dermatologic surgery with specific interests in skin cancer and reconstruction, including Mohs surgery.  He also performs treatment of varicose and spider veins and other cosmetic procedures for scar revision, advanced facial reconstruction after trauma or surgery and to provide a more youthful appearance.

Dr. Geisse is a certified dermatologist, Mohs surgeon and dermatopathologist - the diagnosis of skin condition by the examination of skin biopsy specimens under a microscope.

Dr. John Geisse, MD is a board-certified dermatologist and Mohs surgeon providing care to patients in the Vallejo, Vacaville, Fairfield, and Napa, California at Solano Dermatology Associates.

Dr. Geisse is a member of multiple esteemed medical professional organizations, including the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) and has served on the Board of Directors of the American College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology (ACMMSCO). Regional organizations include the California Medical Association, the San Francisco Medical Society the Pacific Dermatologic Association and the North American Society of Phlebology.

He also serves as an editor for the journal Dermatologic Surgery and has authored three book chapters on skin cancer and skin surgery, as well as many papers.
