Albany Internal Medicine

Over the years, Albany Internal Medicine has become known as one of the area’s premier providers of high-quality medical care as demonstrated by its prestigious recognition as a Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) from the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA).

We are located in northwest Albany, making our practice closer and more convenient to our patient base. It’s why our staff expands its knowledge through continuing education courses, seminars, and workshops. Our commitment to improvement is behind our drive to secure the latest technology and to keep up with healthcare trends.

In fact, we have implemented an office-wide electronic medical records system (paperless) to better care for our patients. Our new “patient portal” allows our patients to link to us via the world wide web to request an appointment, ask a nurse a question, receive secure email test results, or pay their bills. Being accessible to our patients is one of our main objectives. When our office is closed, the physician on call can be reached by phoning our main office number.

AIM’s doctors rotate the responsibility of being on-call for after-hour emergencies. When one of our patients has an emergency and our office is closed, the doctor on call will make sure the patient is taken care of.

The old-fashioned bond of respect and trust between physician and patient remains alive and well at AIM.
