Dr. Fontana received her Bachelor of Science degree from Wayne State University in Biological Sciences where she graduated summa cum laude. She earned her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in 2008. She completed a two-year research fellowship at Northwestern University/Feinberg School of Medicine at the Department of Dermatology where she participated in dermatological research. Dr. Fontana then returned to Michigan to complete her post-graduate training in Dermatology at Wayne State University.
