About Dr. Laura Haygood, MD

Laura Haygood, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist providing dermatology care to patients in the Tyler, Texas area since 1999. 

Dr.Haygood specializes in the diagnoses and treatment of a wide variety of skin conditions including skin cancer, acne, eczema/allergic reactions, warts, cysts, and skin tags, as well as surgical dermatology. 

After graduating from Rice University in 1991, she attended Baylor College of Medicine, where she obtained her Doctor of Medicine (MD) and completed an Internal Medicine Internship. Dr. Haygood completed a Dermatology Residency at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, where she served as chief resident before returning to Tyler in 1999.
