About Dr. Leslie Poinsette, MD

Dr. Poinsette is a native Greenvillian with deep family ties to the Upstate of South Carolina. She earned her B.S. in Chemistry from the University of South Carolina and her Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Poinsette’s medical Residency was fulfilled at Southern Illinois University which included an internship in Pediatrics at MUSC. She has been in formal practice of Dermatology since 2002 and is board certified with the American Board of Dermatology. Dr. Poinsette’s professional affiliations include ASDS, National Eczema foundation, National Psoriasis foundation, The Greenville Dermatologic Society, and the Greenville Medical Society.

Dr. Poinsette is happily married to Dr. Michael Poinsette. The Poinsettes are the proud parents of 3 children, and are active with their children’s various schools and extracurricular activities.

Dr. Poinsette was voted the Best Dermatologist of the Upstate in 2015!
