Dr. Bukaty practices in all areas of dermatology and treats male and female patients of all ages for conditions of the skin, hair and nails. She has a special interest in Mohs surgery for skin cancers and dermasurgery, including biopsies, mole and cyst removal, torn earlobe repair, and removal of benign growths. She has extensive experience in treating actinic keratoses (pre-cancerous growths) with photodynamic therapy, topical medications and cryotherapy (liquid nitrogen).
Dr. Bukaty also offers cosmetic dermatology consultations and treatments with lasers of all types for wrinkles, sun damage, red and brown spots, and hair removal, as well as fillers, such as Restylane, Botox, chemical peels and spider vein treatment.

Dr. Bukaty, originally from West LA, earned her undergraduate degree in Human Biology from Stanford University in 1981. She then receive a master’s degree in Public Health (MPH) before attending medical school at UCLA. She completed her internship at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. After a one year fellowship in clinical dermatology under the direction of Dr. Gerald Weinstein at UC Irvine, Dr. Bukaty completed a three year residency in dermatology at UC Irvine Medical Center and the Long Beach Veterans Administration Medical Center.
