About Dr. Lynne Roberts, MD

Dr. Lynne J. Roberts, M.D. is a dermatologist providing medical care to patients in the Dallas, Texas area.

Lynne J. Roberts, M.D. is a pioneer in the field of cutaneous laser surgery. Dr. Roberts has extensive experience and expertise in dermatologic laser surgery, having served as a preceptor for laser training and as a speaker regarding cutaneous laser surgery for adults and children. Laser manufacturers in North America have tapped the expertise of Dr. Roberts by sending laser surgeons from across the United States and from Asia, Europe, Canada, and Mexico to train with her in her Dallas office. Caring for infants and children with birthmarks led to her interest in laser surgery. With the advent of dye laser surgery in 1988, effective treatment for vascular birthmarks was finally available. Thus began her new direction and focus on laser surgery. Dr. Roberts had the privilege of using the first dye laser and, subsequently, the first ruby laser in the Southwest. Her office was also the first to offer LightSheer diode laser hair removal in Dallas.

Dermatologists are skin surgery experts and developed many of the lasers and other procedures for skin rejuvenation.  No one knows more about your skin than your Dermatologist.  Dr. Roberts offers a fully equipped in-office laser suite and performs all of the laser procedures herself, with the exception of laser hair removal.

Dr. Roberts provides in depth consultations with patients discussing their goals and ways to achieve them. Many new patients come as referrals from other doctors and from established patients because she is known for being knowledgeable, conservative and honest. Dr. Roberts will only recommend treatment which is appropriate and effective for the individual patient. Her practice is unique in today’s medical market trend of large groups by remaining one of the few solo/small practices. Patients tell Dr. Roberts they appreciate her personal touch and are glad she has kept her practice small.
