About Dr. Maria Atkins, MD

Dr. Atkins holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biochemistry and graduated from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1993. After completing a Family Practice Residency at Brighton Medical Center in Portland, Maine, she turned her focus to Medical Aesthetics in 1996. She is a Fellow of the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery and holds numerous certifications in her field. By incorporating multi-wavelength laser technologies as well as a comprehensive range of non-invasive state of the art techniques, modalities and procedures, Dr. Atkins has made CEC the most successful and highly regarded medical aesthetic and laser practice in New England today.
