Dr. Tankel received his medical degree from New York Medical College after graduating Magna Cum Laude with honors in Biology from Brandeis University. He is also a graduate of the Bronx High School of Science. After serving his medical internship and residency at North Shore University Hospital, Manhasset, NY, He went on to become chief resident in dermatology at the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center.
