Dr. Pental graduated from the Pennsylvania State University as a University Scholar with a major in Biology. She earned her medical degree (MD) from the Pennsylvania State University with membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Medical Honor Society. Shen then completed her dermatology residency training in the Dept. of Dermatology at Brown University.
