About Dr. Patti Satterfield, MD
Dr. Patti Satterfield is a Board Certified Dermatologist with more than 14 years of experience in medical and surgical dermatology.
A California native and co-founder of Folsom Dermatology, Dr. Satterfield earned her medical degree from the University of California, Davis School of Medicine. She remained at UC Davis for both her internship and her dermatology residency, where she was selected as Chief Resident in her third year. Dr. Satterfield also attended California State University, Long Beach, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Physiology.
Most recently, Dr. Satterfield practiced as a Senior Partner in Kaiser Permanente’s Department of Dermatology in Roseville, California.
Dedicated to providing the best patient care possible, she contributed to Kaiser Permanente’s formal Quality Assurance efforts for more than nine years, including four years as Quality Assurance Chairperson for the Department of Dermatology and five years as a member of the Quality Assurance Multidisciplinary Committee for Outpatient Medicine.
Dr. Satterfield is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, as well as a member of the Dermatology Journal Club of Sacramento. She takes great satisfaction in partnering with her patients to make decisions and develop treatment plans that keep them healthy and fit their lifestyle. Early detection and treatment of skin cancer is a primary focus of Dr. Satterfield.
Dr. Satterfield resides in El Dorado Hills with her husband and three children. In addition to spending time with family and friends, she enjoys yoga, skiing, and relaxing in Hawaii.
