Payman Kosari, MD, DABVLM is a board-certified dermatologist practicing at DLVSC in Charlotte, NC and the surrounding areas since 2013.

Dr. Payman Kosari specializes in the treatment of pediatric and adult disorders of the skin. In addition, he has had extensive training in the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancers including basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma and malignant melanoma. He has a specialized focus in the field of cosmetic dermatology and prides himself on creating beautiful and natural results. Dr. Kosari has a particular interest in injectables, including fillers and neuromodulators, as well as lasers and light-based devices. Education & Training

Dr. Kosari grew up on the west coast and remained close to home for undergraduate education, receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the University of California. Next, he moved on to the midwest, earning his medical degree from the Chicago Medical School. Following an internship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, he again relocated – this time to North Carolina, for his dermatology residency at Wake Forest Baptist Health. While at Baptist, Dr. Kosari gained invaluable experience from leaders in the field of dermatology. He proudly brings this strong background and expertise with him to Charlotte.
