Education & Training
Dr. DiBacco attended St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School and Mountaineer High School graduating as Salutatorian. He attended the University of Dayton, graduating cum laude with a B.S. in Premedicine. Thereafter, he attended West Virginia University School of Medicine, graduating with a Doctor of Medicine degree. During Medical school, he received additional training at Boston University Medical School and the University Of California San Francisco School Of Medicine.
After medical school, Dr. DiBacco completed a three-year residency in Internal Medicine at Hartford Hospital in Connecticut. After completing an elective course in Dermatology at Yale University during his medical residency, Dr. DiBacco discovered his strong interest in problems of the skin. He applied and was accepted into a combined residency in Dermatology at Louisiana State University and Tulane University in New Orleans, offered at Charity Hospital. He spent three years of training. He was honored with the Louisiana Dermatological Society’s annual Peterkin Award for an outstanding resident research project.
