About Dr. Roopal Bhatt, MD
Dr. Bhatt is a board-certified Dermatologist, Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology, Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She is a member of Austin Dermatologic Society, Travis County Medical Society and Texas Medical Association.

* Undergraduate degree: Harvard University, cum laude, AB in Biology, emphasis on Neurobiology, 1996
* Neurology/Neurobiology Research at the Children’s Hospital in Boston and the Massachusetts General Hospital, 1993-1997
* Medical School: State University of New York, Health Science Center at Downstate in Brooklyn, NY. MD, summa cum laude, Junior AOA (alpha omega alpha) member. 1997-2001
* Medical Internship: Saint Vincent’s Medical Center in Greenwich Village in Manhattan, NY from 2001-2002 (primary medical center during “9-11”)
* Residency in Dermatology: SUNY Downstate, Brooklyn, NY, from 2002-2005
* Clinical Observer at the St. John’s Institute of Dermatology, London, England, March, 2005
* Board Certified, American Board of Dermatology, 2005
From 2005 to 2007, she was in private practice in Manhattan and Long Island, NY, and also was a Clinical Assistant Professor for the North Shore University Hospital.
After moving from NYC to the Four Points area in northwest Austin in 2007, she saw a need in this community and beyond for further comprehensive dermatologic care…thus begins the start of Four Points Dermatology.
Dr. Bhatt brings much experience from her years in a multitude of private and academic practices, providing care for patients of all ethnicities and ages.
Aside from being happily married with two young children, Dr. Bhatt enjoys thinking of free time, running, traveling, and re-reading the Harry Potter series.
