About Dr. Sarah Howell, MD

Dr. Howell is a board-certified dermatologist. She earned her BS from Boston College and her MD from Georgetown University School of Medicine. She completed her internship at Tripler Army Medical Center and went on to finish her dermatology residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center & National Naval Medical Center. She served as the Chief of Dermatology at Ireland Army Community Hospital in Fort Knox, KY, where she finished her 8 years of army active duty service with the rank of Major. Dr. Howell joined Hawaii Dermatology Centers in 2012 and has been named one of Honolulu Magazine’s Top Doctors in Hawaii from 2015-2018. She currently serves on the board of the Hawaii Dermatological Society.
